In a week when temperatures are reaching well into the 90's, it's difficult to imagine the record-setting winter of 2008-2009.  More than 6 feet of snow fell during a four-week period starting in early December, shutting down businesses, making roads impassable, and collapsing roofs throughout our region.  If you need a reminder of just how bad it was, watch the video above.

A fight involving 16 medium security offenders at the Airway Heights Corrections Center's recreation yard resulted in no serious injuries to offenders.

Administrative program manager, Risa Klemme, at the corrections center reports that the facility is secure and staff members are in the process of interviewing all offenders to determine what led to the fight.

All offenders are currently confined to their units and movement is being monitored. The minimum security complex, housing 600 offenders, was not affected in the fight.

It's official, I wish I could be 13 years old forever. Today I had the opportunity to dilly dally around in a "Rolling Video Games" trailer. When they first showed up Robyn Nance insisted I come and check it out (it was a setting place for a Wednesday Child shoot).
