Air Force Fitness Test
From front to back, after opening ceremonies for the Air Mobility Rodeo, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., July 24 participating units competed against each other in the Air Force fitness test. Five of Fairchild’s Airmen – four competitors and the team chief -do one minute of pushups. From front to back: Senior Airman Alexander Aun, 92nd Security Forces Squadron; Staff Sgt. Michael Burton, 92nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron; Capt. Jim Blech, 92nd Operations Support Squadron, and Lt. Col. Brad Hamby, 92nd Air Refueling Squadron. PT Run
Fairchild Airmen competed in the Air Force fitness test against other teams at the 2011 Air Mobility Rodeo. The Fairchild team, pictured in tan T-shirts, weave through the pack during the first hundred meters of the 1.5 mile run July 24 following opening ceremonies. Senior Airman Alexander Aun, 92nd Security Forces Squadron, is leading the Fairchild runners at the start. Lt. Col. Brad Hamby, 92nd Air Refueling Squadron, finished first amongst the Fairchild team.

Unloading Gear
A pallet with the Fairchild Rodeo Team's luggage is loaded onto a KC-135R Stratotanker July 23 at the Spokane International Airport. The flight crew of four, along with 13 of the tanker’s maintenance specialists, four security forces Airmen and three financial specialists made up the competing team who arrived at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., for the biennial Air Mobility Rodeo competition. Three community civic leaders, the wing's vice commander and other support personnel also went to the event.
